Until this week the Istanbul Cost of Living Calculator was the only city tool. As of today, six more Turkish cities each have their own calculator — with their own rent tables, district tiers, and lifestyle multipliers reflecting how the local market actually behaves.
The new pages:
- Antalya — Mediterranean coast, large Russian-speaking and UK-retiree communities.
- Bodrum — Aegean luxury market, summer-heavy seasonality, premium villa rentals.
- Ankara — capital, embassies and universities, ~25–35% cheaper than Istanbul.
- Izmir — Aegean coast, secular and liberal, growing remote-worker scene.
- Fethiye — Mediterranean coast, heart of British Türkiye, cheapest of the major expat cities.
- Alanya — Mediterranean coast, German and Scandinavian retiree communities.
Mersin also launched as a beta page for the cheaper Mediterranean alternative.
Each city has its own rent assumptions for budget / central / premium districts and 5 home sizes (studio → villa). All other calculator inputs (lifestyle, healthcare, schooling, household) work identically across cities, so you can run the same household against multiple bases to compare. The cost-of-living index page lists all cities side-by-side.
